In order to know the current status and future trends in cybersecurity, detect research networks and international collaboration and identify priority areas in Research and Development (R&D) that need to be promoted and supported by public policies, the Government conducted the first study of R&D in Cybersecurity.

During the activity it was presented the work of the subseven comitees, the which gave as a general result the need of a robust politic, the profundization of the digital transformation of the state, the need of a change management and the creation of appropiate governance, while also promoting education in cibersecurity.
